Anyone going to see Dillinger Escape Plan tonight? (for the uninformed, its a band) Waterloo Hotel, $40. I'm probably gonna head in, even though none of my friends like them I might head in alone to see how they fare live. So if anyone's going i'll be the lonely guy :p

they didnt play for long, where was the encore?

never heard of them, and $40, ouch.

I thought they were great but yeah, they didn't play for long and no encore sucked arse. I so thought they'd come on and play highway robbery for an encore, thats like one of my fav songs but nothing :(. Was kinda funny though because they set up their own gear seeing them come out to pack up and get booed for no encore. They seem like cool guys though and the guitar and bass guys hung back to meet people and get photos taken and stuff.

I also thought it was pretty funny how hardly anyone in the crowd (me included) seemed to know what they looked like. When they came on stage to set up for a while there i thought they were roadies. Normally when anyone gets a glimpse of the band they go nuts but here we had the whole band out there setting up and sound testing and no one seemed to notice haha. When i was lining up to get my ticket the bass guy was standing like a metre from me waiting to get let in and i didn't even recognise him.
