Hey, I know some of you guys have movie icon statuettes from your setup pics. I was wondering if you, especially Rev, could give me any idea on what a 'good' price is for one of those 15inch Horror statues like Rev's Michael Myers. On ebay and American e-stores they're about AU$150 but with postage and the risk of damage I was thinking against that. I was after one in the city which is signed and has gone done from $500 to $300. I would just like to know a ballpark figure to see if that is a crazy price and if you think it's worth the risk of buying online for a cheaper price. A huge thanks in advance.

Edit: btw it's similar to the pic above but it's Jason Voorhees.

I paid $89 for Michael Myers from Animeland when it was up at Garbo but that was maybe over 2 years ago. I'm not sure itf they're around anymore so you might have to pay a higher price.

Also, check out Mr Toys at Carindale. They have heaps of these things there and the guy will also order stuff in if it's available so maybe, just maybe if you're lucky you'll be able to get it thru him cheaper.

Hey thanks guys for your responses. I've found out there's Michael Myers, Freddy, Jason etc as plastic figures with the Jason one exactly the same in shape and size as the one I'm looking at. This one is resin, is limited to 1000 and signed by Kane Hodder so now I just have to decide if it's worth that kind of money or not. Thanks for your info :)

Also, anyone know of any video rental places where they have a decent selection of old horror movies and good old stuff like Bladerunner, on DVD or VHS. I've found Blockbuster has sfa, only new DVDs really. Small, local places are generally pretty good.
