If anyone has been watching X-Factor, keep an eye out for the group called Random. A mate of mine is in it, his name is Xy (pronounced Zai) and hes probably the biggest guy in the group, 2 sundays ago he was wearing a red shirt and a red cap during auditions.

anyway, his mob is doing pretty well atm, he flies down to melbourne on the 7th of march to start proceedings, so if you are watching, bring some support for the man :)

also, i had a chat to Wayne the Wizard, the beat boxer from the same group who had a run-in with mark holden about the fact he is going on a beat boxing alliance tour as well as making it through with Random, very much a dude, for sure.

I haven't watched the show but what is the go with having a vocal group category. The spice girls and backstreet boys are long gone, and IMO should stay that way. Is there seriously a market for this kind of music group?
