Was just watching some late night tv, and this ad came on for parkinson's disease, trying to get people to donate money and stuff, but the ad was so bizarre I thought it was a joke at first.

It was almost making fun of people with parkinson's disease, like this person is trying to hang their washing on the line and their hands are shaking all over the place and they can't hold onto the clothes or clip the pegs on the line, and theres this commentator commentating it like its a boxing match going "Oh no! Shes down! Parkinson's wins again!"

It was really bad, I actually laughed at it, but then felt pretty guilty afterwards :P

Seriously though, it comes accross as really bad taste, have to wonder who decided it'd be a good idea to show those ads =\

there was actually something about this on ACA or Today Tonight or something a while ago.. but yer, the people in the ad, actually do have parkinsons.

The people in the ads as said above suffer from the disease. They have no problems with the ads at all because they are aware that most people arebn't aware of the suffering they go through.

They're not making fun of anyone, they are showing the true face of those who suffer.

edit: lets say suffer one more time!!! YAY!
