massive.. name your favourite band or group and your favourite song from them, and then your favourite solo artist and fav song from them, i know we've done this a few times before but not for a while iirc and peoples tastes might've changed, plus some ideas of CD's to get(if you know what CD a song is off put it in there)

Band - Cold Chisel
Song - Khe Sanh (this is tough because i'm a massive Chis fan but it's always been a classic imo.)

Solo - Jimmy BARNES
song - I'd die to be with you tonight ( but i like all of barnesy's songs )

Suggested CDs to buy : Chisel (all of there hits)
Barnes Hits (classics plus some rare songs..)

This has been done to death a million times.

Anyway,

Fav band: Hybrid
Fav song: I'm Still Awake

Sif narrow it down to one band and song though, my tastes are so eclectic that these threads cannot comprehend the magnatude and variety.

On that note, I have been getting into some awesome s*** by Layo & Bushwacka and Massive Attack.

The new Prodigy album is s***, as is the new Ma$e album :(

I mean ffs, how longs it been since they both released something. They definitely lost the magic :(((((

This is very hard thing to do but since you pick an Aussie band I'll follow with my favorite Aussie band/s

Band - The Sunnyboys
Song - Happy Man

Solo - none as the Oxley Brothers never went solo until Tim released an album 2 years ago, lets not talk about that.

Recomend - This is real http://www.feelpresents.com/label/768/releases/sunnyboys/index.html

Band - Rose Tattoo
Song - We Can't Be Beaten

Solo - Angry Anderson doing the Advance Australia Fair at the Bledisloe in the early 90's.

Recomend - all of em.

Haha, it does.

Anyway, too hard to pick a favourite plus I mainly listen to dance stuff these days and there's too many good tracks out there.

Don McLean - Castles In The Air is a great track.
