The 2005 Hitchhiker's movie trailer is available in AVI or RealMedia formats. The movie trailer doesn't reveal anything, but looks cool. The trailer is not even a teasr as there is little to no footage, but the big news is the BBC are going to finish the radio series, finally the last 3 books will be serialised. I'm a hugh Hitchhikers fanboy and have been ever since I read the first book back in 1979, then I saw the TV series (still one of all time favorite SciFi series), I even have Hitchhikers BBC radio series on vinyl, of course I now have CD and DVD. Some people egarly await Star Wars 3 (me included) but for me the big movie event for next year is going to be Hitchhikers followed very closley by Red Dwarf the movie. As seen on /. today. |

Red Dwarf - The Movie may be shot in Australia. Preliminary design work is currently underway. Pre-production proper will begin in mid-July, and shooting is slated for January 2005.They seem to be on track. |

I even have Hitchhikers BBC radio series on vinyl I have a mate who has the BBC vinyl, autographed by Douglas Adams himself. He was out here some years ago doing a book signing thing in the city, so my mate rushed home got his albums and grabbed him just before he left the store. Nice collectors item. Can you pick up the CD of the series in Brisvegas anywhere? |

Thanks Gumby :D
There was an insane HHGTTG trivia buff who appeared on The Einstein Factor a few weeks back. I'm pretty sure he made it into the finals (?) If he did, he'll be on tonight: channel 2 @ 6.30pm :) Edit: Just checked. He did win a place in the finals http://www.abc.net.au/einsteinfactor/txt/s1138222.htm Freak! last edited by caffeinebear at 18:12:03 01/Aug/04 |
