Last time I went to a ggf my power supply blew up and so did keato's ... so much fun!

Obes, stop blaming everything on other people. It's your equipment just f***in take care of it.

power supplies have blown up at every lan, so it must be there fault!!!

Really? that's odd... the last couple of GGF's I've been to there hasn't been any probs with stuff blowing up - most of the time it's caused by smacktards with dodgy mods on their cases & what not...

obes..u and keato havn't been to a ggf for over 6 - 7yrs...

and..we DID resolve the problem..we stopped letting ppl in who had MODDED THEIR POWER SUPPLIES...

We have had NO power issues at all now for over 18months...
our refusal to allow some ppl to turn on their pc's till they had them checked solved that issue.
also..we had a electrician on hand 2 times..offering free psu checks...
NOT ONE PERSON WHO HAD A PROBLEM TOOK US UP ON THIS.
(not aware of any lans U attend that do this)
anyway...

what lan doesn't have probs at times....

o..obes..i forgot to ask...u have NEVER had another psu die on u before..or since?
I know of many ppl that have had PSU's die on them at lans...
including QGL..SEIGE..G.G.F..Lansmash..Beerwah

Squall had to get a new psu at the last ggf, but that was becuase his 280 couldn't take his new hdd and made a screechy type noise.

yeh..he had a 250watt psu i think...and got a new 450watt psu now..he did have it under load...
hahha

He also couldn't sleep with the blue led fan in it hahaha.

MOST of the clans who have registered for this event in the past and this time again are OVER 17....

The event is run on VERY WELL DEFINED FORMAT/RULES and with some DECENT prizes on offer....
WHY WOULDN'T they.

Anyway..rego's are open...we opened them early to allow time for discussuion of MAPS/DETAILS/RULES.

Finalisation of FORMAT will be posted 2 weeks before the EVENT.

Obes, this is the first ive heard about probs with power supplies. Either way im sure its your fault because ive never even heard of power being an issue.

Dude pull your head out of the sand ... the PSU was working .. the power went off it came back on again and my pc wasn't working. The went off again, keatos wasn't working. ... its obviously a random alignment of moons causing a gremlin from pluto to decide it needed to subjugate our pc's one psu at a time.

That or the power was f***ed and the random turning off and on was spiking people's pcs. And yeah I told ya at the time.

obes....keato had a harddrive die..remember..he flamed GGF for it on this very forum....
BUT...anyway...refer above post by me about other psu's and lans...
for some reason u blame GGF for a poweroutage?...that killed your psu?
don't see you blaming/flaming other lans tho....we all know it happens at lans cause ppl daisy chain power.
Get over it..this was a thread about DOD 3 DAY EVENT...YOU had NOTHING at all to add to it..except some gripe from OVER 7 yrs ago....

QGL that we loaned them..and we didn't carry on they way u r...

He had a hdd drive die at a different earlier lan ..
