Bodyjar are playing amongst others. should be fun

I was to film bodyjar, but they have moved it to next thursday (i think) at qut....

I wanted to go tonight :(

I wouldn't mind going, but I don't really want to pay $25 to finish at 10:30/11pm, and then have to spend more money to continue my night (going to a pub/club).

I'm off to the regatta, $2 coronas from 5:30-7:30. Sweeeeet.

I'm already home, saw hoods and went home, they put on an awesome show, but i'm still hung from last night to get into the night.

i seen bodyjar a million times and they are well good live and my mate was just at the tas uni one where they also played, said it was tidy

Hilltop Hoods were good.

Event management were a bunch of f***sticks though. Schedualing hilltop hoods at same time as pete murray?!?!

And then when i was directed to the redroom bar i went outside and went to the normal entrance, the staff there said i had to go around the side, then the staff there said i wasn't allowed in that area and to go through the main area. So i go back to the entrance and I have a stub and a wrist band, and the s***heads won't let me through.

Gave them a piece and walked home.

well, we had the griffith concerty thing, and the UQ one, does QUT have one? or are they social rejects?

yep i thought it was an great event considering i only paid $18 and drinks weren't hideously expensive. Pete Murray was awesome and what i saw of Hilltop Hoods (i.e. Nosebleed Section) was pretty impressive.

What made the night though were the last two sets at the DJ Stage, DJ Kristian ( i think) was great and really got me into it. DJ Kid Kay Ferriss however was simply sublime and literally played a flawless set. I danced straight for about 2.5 hours in the end because i couldn't bring myself to stop. They kept going well past 11pm and i can't wait to catch them at the Milk Bar on 12/3.

sounds a lot better than GU and the other one, it would have been a good idea to have ours in the new pub, we would have saved a heap on lighting and s***.. plus we only had 400 turn up

It doesn't sound better than the UQ one, we had probably 5 thousand people there i'd guess.

Good Buddah were the best out of the three ausiie hip hop acts - live instuments went off.

Kid Kay Ferris.... not too bad breakyness for a local outfit - good on em.
