Damn this is going back a few years. I guess the 1st CD that I've ever bought with my own money would be "Hit machine 1992". I'm serious. Ahaa to be young and naive again....

it was a tie - when I was 12 I got a CD player for my b'day and the first CD's I got were Silverchair - Frogstomp and Queen - Greatest Hits.

Smash and nevermind would have been in my first 20.

Epic - Faith No More
Unchained Melody - Righteous Brothers

then there were tracks like

It's a bit hard to remember that far back... I think it was either Van Halen 5150 or Deep Purple - Greatest Hits, well one of the Deep Purple Greatest hits :)

First record was Whitesnake 1984, second was Van Halen 5150 :)

Tape - I can't remember. Something like "Great Sci-fi movie soundtracks" or something stupid...

Latest CD I bought (well I bought 6 today so it could be any of them) - Ozric Tentacles - Swirly Termination.
