Yeah I heard Intel is doing something similar with thier new chip as well (can't remember which model) basically it stops the buffer over flows attack.
Unfortunately this won't stop all types of virii/trojan/worms infact IIRC the majority of the current type of worms/trojans do not specifically exploit the buffer over flow. Good step in the right direction. Certainly a "fix" but not a "cure" for this problem. |

so it's just as useless as the anti-virus measures that have been included in the average BIOS for more than 3 years now..
