as is says, what dvdv player should i buy? id like a seperate DVD from the PC.
i have to have: digital outs s-video out mp3 good sound quality and at least half decent picture quality $500 or under would be good |

get a toshiba. ive got one and ive had no problems. it has all those features ++.

make sure its multi region, and it reads dvd+ and dvd- (and the rest,), so you can burn dvd's!

my LG cost like $200 from Big W, does the job. Voxon's are pretty cheap as well from tandy, they do all formats as well.

Our Pioneer DVD player was $500 about 2.5 years ago. It was voted the best dvd player for it's price back in its day, and has all the features you mentioned ++.
They would have a more recent/better model, but definetely give it a check out. |

Bah get a "centrex" from beta electrical, sure its not a brand name, they are made in QLD. they have digital ins etc for 5.1 setups. and surprising thing they are region free.

Pioneer. Alot of people I know own them. I own one myself and its fantastic. They are well priced now too. Around the 300 dollar mark.
