i agree with sphox...frenzal do suck..they've had their time, they are trying to suck out every dollar that they can, before they die from drugs.

You idiot if they were trying to suck out every dollar they would go mainstream and write songs with titles unlike 'c*********'.

That is the dumbest thing you have said

I was listening to Triple M on the way to B'Ball sunday night and they interviewed evernesence who said they were trying to get back for BDO.

Tallica + Evernesence would prolly make me buy a ticket.

The main stage lineup is shaping up to be absolute s***, whereas loudmouth looks set to be great.

If me first comes will nofx and lagwagon come? They should

Quit propagating your ignorance, just because they share a label and an artist, doesnt mean they tour together.
IIRC Fat Mike doesnt generally play bass for the gimmes on int tours anyway.

The last show is always the best! All the bands go out and party after it.

It isnt just fat mike, there is also members from lagwagon and swinging utters. It would just seem logical to bring out Nofx because they are due to tour oz. When you actually work with bands and event media, you can start acting like a tool and call me ignorant.

i would just about guarentee all of you that they save a lot of good bands for the other announcements

noting that this is the first announcement of bands..

I would almost be sure both powderfinger (always at livid and this year with a new cd to promote) and something for kate (also with a new album) will be at livid

the butterfly effect probably will also, they are mad performers, probably the best last year and they too have a new album

i would doubt powderfinger would be playing, since they headlined it last year and have only recently headlined splendour in the grass.

sfk - maybe.

butterfingers - yeah they have been getting a lot of exposure of their single "everytime" but since the guys have only been around a shortish time, i'm fairly sure the song was not written in the early 90s. who cares though, these guys are great live and have a whole stack of other great songs to back it up with.

all up its a pretty solid line up. it has a bit of everything to suit a range of tastes, plus some bands that are really making a name for themselves at the moment (linkin park, white stripes, j5, black rebel motorcycle club) plus old livid faves the resin dogs. i guess a few more international acts will top it off nicely, but we will just have to wait and see.

That is right, Im on the street team! I totally forgot. Your an absolute tool. Im not on any street team. As I said event media, and no, that isnt a street team.

I know everything about music? I was just using common sence, Nofx has just got a new album out they havent been here for 2 years and 1 of the members may already be here. Geesh!

Don't be jelous because I have a
cool job and you work at macca's 7
days a week.

I think the word you're looking for is "common sense".
And what is common sense about that, it's complete over-speculation.
NOFX were at big day out last year, OMG MFGGs, LAURENCE ARMS AND PROPAGANDHI WERENT THERE BUT THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN BECAUSE THEY ARE ON THE SAME LABEL WHAT IS WRONG!!!!

Hrm, no one on that list of bands I particularly want to see.

The lineup needs more Interpol. As in, needs to include Interpol.

All the music I like is good, but all the music you like, especially dan, isn't.

I'm with Dan though, not much there that I'm interested in, except maybe the White Stripes, but I don't know how good they'd be live.

Cant believe foramusementonly are doing the whole tour, theyve done well and good on them..but theyre complete and utter wankers, with their co-ordinated jumps and spins and that other crap, and well the singer is just a dead set f***head.

Astroboy: why dont you add the vandals aswell to your list of bands that SHOULD come just because another band is going? i agree it would be awesome to have nofx, and in particular lagwagon tour here, but its naive to think that theyll come just because joey cape is touring and fat mike MAY be playing.

oh and have a look here, it might be right up your alley:P

the roots will be headlining the annex, so they will get 60-75 mins. j5, being an international act, will get 45-60 depending on what time of the day they play.
