im sick of reading heat sink reviews and wondering which is the best quiet one. etc etc -me lazy :P

im just wondering if there is a list made up of heat sinks (or other pc hardware for thast matter) which is updated every now and then?

with some sort of order eg.best/worst, noisy/lessnoisy. ??

How much ya got to spend?

A spire rock 2 is "silent" .. i coildnt hear it at all .. and will keep ya cpu nice and cool .. for $39 from the disc shop

I would recommend the spire rock, very quiet and cooling performance aint too shabby, you want a bit cooler slap on a higher RPM fan and it'll be all good!

I got one for my bro cause i was sick of his whiney POS, my personal choice however is h2o :P

I got one of the butterfly zalman copper ones. I cant hear it when its running. (at 5V)
