we were there the day they filmed it, and we were like going.. i wonder what all this is about.

anyways the ad has been on for a while and i only just realised im actually in it!

it was filmed at little stanley street at southbank.

i was almost in a scene in red heat (with arnie and jim belushi)

they were filming the scene were belushi is at LAX eating nuts (well, i cant remember if it was LAX in the moofie, but thats were it was really filmed) and we were flying home to oz from america

anyway they were using ppl at the airport as extras walking through the back of the scene, and me and our family walked across the background a couple of times, but they never used the scenes we were in :(

arnie wasnt there either, it was his standin, belushi was there though;

So dOmino is that the ad where she get's taken out by the bus and they use the tampoons to clean the blood and guts of the bus cause they are super absorbant.

was she hot in real life? she's pretty good in the ad.

could be one of the new gas busses, I think they have bluw fronts and a lot of blue on the sides (you know the ones that supposedly stall all the time :P )

My mum was actually in a Jackie Chan moofie ...NO BS.

It was Jackie Chan's "First Strike". They pretty much filmed it in the Valley and Mooloolaba about 5 yrs ago.

Anyways my Mum had a friend who ran a casting agency for moofie extra's but mainly they just got extras for TV ads etc. My Mums friend got her into a few ads just cos its actually quite easy money. You get like $250 a day and catering is provided although you could be standing around waiting for hours whilst they set up the shot/scene etc.

My Mum got some work as an extra on this Jackie chan moofie. Simply cos they were filming the last bit at Mooloolaba and she thought cool I get to go to the Sunshine Coast and earn a few bucks whilst I'm there. You see her for about 4 seconds right near the end as Jackie is running along the esplande where all these Mitsubishi FTO's are up on display (rather conviently ;) ) He then runs past my Mum and nearly knocks her over then jumps into a red FTO and drives it off the blocks thru a park, then along a jetty and finally makes the car do 15-20 metre jump off the jetty and into the Bad Dudes (they are moustached russians with cheesy accents ..of course ;) ) passing Boat.

Phew! Thats it!

P.S My Mum is still totally stoked about meeting Jackie and having a photo taken with him.

I remember the olympic tourch recording, I got kicked off the road for jumping out infront of the cameras :(

And, in 1996, A Current Afair dedicated most of an episode to a Neighbors from Hell (666) - almost a documentary about my family, was so funny.

They ended up appoligising and said the story was a mistake :), the guy had 127 Full Videos that he recorded of us back then, so i imagine he has well over 1000 now :s

ACA got sick of him sending spam mail with more and more videos about us so they black listed him and have everything thrown out that he sends in :D

My 5 seconds of fame on TV was shown on the news when i attended the Palastinian rally in the city few years ago. I was on top of my friends shoulder waving a black islamic flag around. Nothing special but i consider myself a 5 sec star nevertheless.

They had a bit of footage from ReAnimator on SBS last night talking about 'Party Drugs' or maby it was ACA.

Theres a system on every 2 mths, time tunnel is on very soon, i have been attempting to get decent marks as opposed to my usual scrape in using sup's and the last LAN i participated in was when i still had AUP Optus Cable. Not to mention the fact that i have uninstalled all my games and given the CD's away until the holidays begin.

Systems are all well and good, but i prefer Breaks, and they dont satisy my finger lickin appetite. (Moonbar anyone?)
