Dont you hate it when all the good players get on one team? A yes/no answer would suffice but I would be interested to hear any other example of lameness.

I remember when the =)x(= clan used to do this.

They were (and still are) a kick arse bunch of players that used to join the servers, and all play on one team and absolutely RAPE. Back then I really couldn't play for s*** and stood no chance whatsoever.

I used to ask why they did this and they said they were "practising". Heh, practising for what? They never warred.

Anyway, enough ancient history (all the =)x(= people are good blokes, online anyway). I agree, it is lame, and I can't see how people have fun just running rampant with no possibility of a fair fight. I guess it is just another result of stats being introduced. Personally, if I know me changing will stop the rape (this is rare, but it has been this way sometimes) then I will.

It's good when some of the regulars I see that are animal's at CS actually join the weaker team and still own, I have great respect for those players.

But it sucks when the scores are like this:

Terrorists

32-2
26-4
18-5
11-6
12-8
etc etc

and the Counter-Terrorists

12-14
11-15
18-16
7-14
2-10
etc etc

actually i hate it far more when all the cablers join the one side (and this happens so much it nearly makes me cry) and then beat their chest about how hot they are with avg ping of 100 vs avg ping 350.

i soooo miss it when =)x(= used to do that, it was somuch fun, i still have heaps of screenshots, it was the biggest frag contest for us =)x(= boys =] f***in great stuff, cs hasn't been as fun since.

I played on Ausgamers 1 last night and we got ownz0red as t's on office.

ct's won, i think it was, 24 - 1 and all the scores wnet something like -
46 - 5
45 - 6
38 - 8
they were the 3 highest on ct
and then on t, i was first with -
14 - 28
it was awesome

i admit i go on the team my fellow teammates are on..[SOM] mates.. but sometimes i will go on the oppisite team to them.. that way the teams have a better good player bad player ratio....i have also noticed that the newbies always go on the team who has the guy\girl wo won the last map....Pumped

I nealy always just auto join a team when I connect to a server, the only time I will change is to even up the numbers (not even up skill level cos I suck). There are some maps where I preffer to be CT or T though and I will join that team at the start if I can, so I wouldn't even know if they are the team that is owning or whatever.

Bah, just set the server to auto auto-team. If you wanna be a T or CT specifically then you can darn well wait until one of them leaves and then change. Even in TFC where both sides have identical weapons we still get this a bit.
Hehe, maybe have an option to fully randomize everyone between the sides after every round :) That would muck people around a bit :)

do what I do and just press 5, 5 everytime you join a CS server...if I get on a good team, let thr raping and pillaging begin :)

I usually auto-team too. But there are a few maps where I prefer to play on a particular side, or maybe if I've been T for five maps in a row I'll deliberately pick CT. But I always try to swap and even up teams if one is absolutely owning.

We played de_train one day and I had the worst CT score at 12:1. And the only reason I was fragged was I had to race to beat the other CTs to the Ts or I wasn't getting frags :) I think the best T score was about 3:12.

That sort of game is really lame though, it's not fun for the losing team and it's really not challenging for the winning one. The best games (imho) are the ones that end up with a team winning by 1.

I should add though, that there are times when you are wanting to play on the same team as your clan or your friends so the teams get unbalanced. I find that really frustrating because you start fraggin your mates.

I try and play with my team mates but I cant because evreyone has joined their teams and it gets f***in rediculous.

It pisses me off when a newbie joins 1 team, then one of my mates join the other.....another joins my mates team then thats it for like 5 minutes because all the d*******s are waiting for someone else to go on the newbie team so they can join the good team. Then they all join the good team and its like 8vs2 which is rediculous and even then you still have unassigned players waiting to join a good team.

That really s***s me :(

I downloaded UT tonight, I might give CS a break, sick of cheating and incidents like this.
