i've got IP-Masq on my linux router and i can connect to IRC fine and download files off irc, but i cant send files for some reason. all of my mirc setting seem ok, any linu guru's got any ideas? (and yes i have the irc module loaded on the server)

did you make this one yourself? like the last one i fixed? :P

ummmmm, possibly that your "firewall" ( not sure if you have one) is denying access cuase of some gay little rule that you may have over looked.

if not well, either RTFM or go to Here and ask them in the Linux room, they always answer my questions.

you're probably using mirc with it's homo method of initiating dcc

check in your options to see what hostname/ip address it's reporting

have you got the ip masq irc module loaded?

modprobe ip_masq_irc

once you load this module, quit out of mirc and reconnect.

i have no problems sending or recieved dcc file transfers.

and yes i have the irc module loaded on the server

i think you have to specify ports when loading ip_masq_irc but that shouldn't affect dcc

DCC is ass anyway
