Just curious..

How many of you, if any, have played or still do play Ultima Online, and would you be interested in a local Brisbane based, player run shard?

Any feedback on this would be welcomed, as I have recommenced development on my FREE shard and am looking for a (preferably free or VERY low cost) high bandwidth host, based in Queensland/NSW.

I have many staff members working day and night (keep in mind they aren't getting paid) to finish this shard's development, so that we can perhaps have it publicly operational by around mid-june.

Australia only really had 2 UO shards. Atrox Imperium, and OzArena.. I am a close personal friend of the admin of the OzArena shard, which was closed in early March of this year, and Atrox Imperium really sucks as far as shards go. So basically, we are endeavouring to create this top class shard, to serve the dying Australian market for FREE UO servers.

Low cost / high bandwidth unfortunately don't really go together :(

but really.. all i'm interested in at this moment in time is what sort of player base i'd be looking at.

in other words.. how many of you guys would actually be interested in a free uo server?

OSI are greedy pricks, they remind me of microsoft in many ways.. and really, good, free australian shards are very few and far between.

dragonclaw is currently on hold while i find out what sort of interest there is for it.
