yeah, my monitor is perfectly flat. I don't know why the glare makes it look like it isn't.

The monitor is a DELL P1130 (DELL badged FD Trinitron).

Any good dual monitor setups? I just got mine hooked up (21" & a 15", 1600x1200 + 1280x768) and it's pretty handy but i'm sure there's some cooler things to do than just drag windows between them or run trillian/dc/whateva on one while playing battlefield on the main one :)

I used to use 1280X1024 on a 15" @ 60hz on a monitor before, and I didn't really mind it, but since I've got my 17", I'll never go back!

not necessarily crap, but 60Hz is painful for many people, myself included. 85Hz or higher for me thanks (I run 1600 x 1200 @ 100Hz on my 21" Trinitron ;) )

well, I was actually going to edit it after I posted it but I forgot to, but I should of said yeah it never locks up. It stays up all the time with out a reboot and gets turned off when I go to lans.

I have my one 40mm fan which sits on my cpu, and then I have 3 X 80mm fans running @ 5000rpm, but at the moment I don't have the fans plugged in, due to the fact at when I have beeen downloading at night I couldn't stand the noise of all those fans in my computer, so I simply turned them off. My System never locks up anyway. I checked my cpu the other day just to clean the heat sink etc, and my cpu was blackened. I'm actually trying to burn out my duran as I'm planning to get a new cpu soon. I know you think I'm quite stupid =D

My old IBM E54 monitor could do that with an old S3 Trio video card, and it was so unbarable it was hurting my eyes as soon as I lookeed at it.

Yeah I posted a rather lengthly question about speakers on SAGamers, and went out and bought some 6x9's and an 8" sub to run off my stereo, which is connected to my PC, of course. Sounds ok, but need boxes for them...also ceiling fan is a 200mm IXL fan like the one probably in your bathroom, which runs @ a resisted current. I don't really need it, but thought I could overclock my XP with this mobo, but nope! Besides it cost 20bux opposed to a whole lot of 80mm fans which cost around that price and does about 5 times the cubit feet/min!

My PC used to be a beast, concidering it only cost 600 bux, I think it's pretty good! :)

yes, it is :D (i use the retail fan), usually it runs at 60-65 but thats when i take the side of my case off :D, i couldnt be bothered when i got home just then, so meh 7X degrees it is :P

also, the graphics card, will be upgraded (thnx in part by denny :D) by probably monday :P
