Optus INF has taken PB off the server OMG it is great almost no lag after testing the server for around 15 minutes the server showed only a 1 sec frame out from 125 down to 20 exactly every minute that was it fully playable

Just try to understand theres a difference between asking for help and simply expecting it.

Try a different tact next time and you might be surprised by the response.

If not in the near future, then maybe after puberty.

im with the barb on this one, but in a more polite manner,, when is the server comming back online, if u ever check who is on that server u should see that im on it when ever posible its the only server with my 56k connection that i can truly play on,,

seriously PB cant take 3 weeks to correct even if u are busy over the holiday break, so wtf is going on.

Hello.. This is a Free service.. You do not in anyway pay for or contribute to the running costs of the servers.. So in essence while you can raise concearns as members of the *community* you are in no position to actually make demands of the Admins..

As far as I am aware a number of admins are using this new-years/christmas time to spend time with their families away from the petty little squabbles of the internet, away from the abuse, away from the children and away from the sheer and utter ignorance that a number of people see it fit to display when trying to resolve their problem... In a nutshell you say you are a 32yr old? Well act your age and show some f***ing maturity....

You think your problems should take priority over everything?? Well there are another 100 just like you.. each with their own problem which they think should be dealt with first. Can you see where I'm going with this?

Boxhead what you said WOULD have been reasonable if it wasnt for when this thread was started. It was started one f***ing month ago, and unless every single admin started all of their christmas family spending time 3 weeks before christmas even happened at the same time, this request barbarian made was valid and should have been responded to appropriately. Also, just because this is a free service doesnt mean you can use it as an excuse for slackness. If you're gonna run the server, then run them properly, instead of sayng 'we took it down to fix pb', then never putting it back on. You say admin have other things to do? Well cry me a f***ing river this is part of your job and if you don't like it there will be a hundred other people who will happily step into your shoes. The fact that the moderators just couldnt be bothered putting the Sof2 server back on is a sigh of laziness and immaturity. If you cant handle the heat stay out of the kitchen

I've been on holidays until today. Fixing the SOF2 is a low, low priority. I've already tried to fix this, I didn't have any luck after spending more than I wanted to on it, so I gave up and asked the PunkBuster team for a reply on how to fix it, which I got. However, for reasons that should be obvious, I'm not going to jump up and restart the server for a bunch of arrogant, whiny little kids that assume I should bow and scrape to their every whim. We have better things to do with our time for people that actually appreciate the effort that we put in.
