I heard you can make the PC version of GTA3 the same as the US one by fiddling with the region setting... how do i do that?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok i changed my time/date thing, language and all that. So should it just... work normally now? It'll play properly? Or must i re-install?

The one difference I know of is in American 'mode' you can pick up hookers if you're driving a nice car (nothing explicit so I really dont' know why its sensored but anyway).

Set you region to USA and start the game up - should work fine.

Stop next to a hooker, they'll talk then eventually get in, drive somewhere quiet and stop and.........

doing that is handy because it gives you an extra 25 health ontop of your standard 100. Good for those tough missions.

The problem with it is the fact that you can beat her up and kill her after you've had sex with her.
