I remember someone on here a while ago was enquiring about where to hire a midget for a bucks do. I have been trying to research this for ages, but have had no luck finding anywhere so far. Does anyone know of any agencies that do this sort of thing? Or even personally know a midget who would be up for some drinking/partying? It's not my bucks do, but it certainly is a dream of mine to get drunk with a midget. I did have one challenge me to a fight once at the Orient Hotel, but that is a different story.

The midget doesn't have to do anything - I just want a midget (preferably male) to hang out with us for the day. We will pay for their drinks, entrance into any clubs/activities, and a wage for the day. There is a homeless one with dreadlocks that hangs out near the Elephant & Castle tube station in London, and I have often dreamt of passing a hat around to fly him over with me for the wedding I am going to (surely he would get a cut price rate?). The midget does not need to strip/dance - but he/she would not be discouraged from doing so. I would also looking into paying more should the midget choose to dress up.

In regards to the unpleasantness, it was during my leaving do from the RE a few years back. We went to the Orient, a midget started hitting on one of my colleagues, so she asked me to pretend to be her boyfriend. I just casualy slung an arm around her while he was chatting away, he didn't like that and started mouthing off at me. I was laughing too hard to come up with anything witty in response before he was dragged away (literally) by security. A surreal experience, but not one that tempered my desire for a midget companion, even if it is only for a day.

You are more likely to find a midget stripper than a midget 'drinking buddy' for hire.

I have heard of a midget that you can hire for your functions that will wear a hat that contains corn chips and guacamole, and will walk around and serve your guests. I'd say he's probably a bit more expensive on a per-hour rate than what you're looking for though, but could be worth looking into.

Theres a tiny chance that you might be able to find one in a wee town like this but perhaps a pint sized talent agency could lend a little help (try lookin for actors)

aha a chick I know was really pissed a few weeks back and tackled a midget fella on the dance floor. everyone had a huge laugh and then 5 minutes later he tackled her. much hilarity ensued. nobody was hurt.

Fireblood - the midget would be getting a free night out, plus pay, so I imagine he/she would expect some good natured ribbing from us. We wouldn't be putting them in any humiliating/dangerous scenarios - if they aren't cool with it, then it doesn't happen.

not really, ive never actually found midgets to be funny or interesting. Theyre just midgets.

Years ago at the Empire a seedy looking midget was dancing with a chick who was not a midget.

They were getting some dirty dancing moves on creating quite a scene. Then out of no where the midget went the muff dive (he was the right height!) on the chick who wasn't impressed. She jumped back and slapped him across the face, the crowd cheered as the midget slinked off.
