Sports games come and go and it takes a lot for a game in any sport field to truly stand-out. Madden owns the NFL franchise while Soccer's number one spot is being constantly fought out between Pro Evolution Soccer and FIFA. Tennis is a sport that translates incredibly well into videogame form but is equally one that has always lacked the depth real tennis fans want and need. For the last few years 2K Games' Top Spin series has been on the brink of greatness and now, with Top Spin 3 they've upped the ante with a number of new stand-out features. We were lucky enough to head over to Miami to look at the game thus far and talk to the team involved and from all accounts, so far, so good. So hit this link or the screen to the right to be transported in to our in-depth hands-on preview of what may become the tennis sim benchmark for videogames. |
