A new version of TA Spring came out this year and I thought I would give it a shameless plug! This awesome open source game engine has kept me playing it's more popular mods over the past couple of years and I highly recommend downloading it if you like RTS in the vein of Total Annihilation.

A bit late for a christmas present, but here it is anyway

An incredible amount of changes made it's way into this release of Spring. To name just one, the installer now allows you to download various mods and maps during the install process. Because of this, there also is no updating installer available anymore: you can use the same installer to upgrade your 0.75b2 install or to do a fresh full install.

Ok so tell me about some cool mods I can get. The last time I tried TA Spring the *nix tarball was a f***ing mess but I'm willing to try it again.
