Well, with the beta out and doing swimmingly, Activision and id Software have finally announced the Australian release date for the game on PC.
id Software and Activision, Inc. unveiled that Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars Windows PC will be on Australian store shelves on September 28. The game, which is in development by Splash Damage, pits the armies of Earth’s Global Defence Force (GDF) against the invading alien Strogg in the multiplayer strategic shooter that transports players to the front lines of an epic new war for Earth.
The title is also in development for Xbox 360 amd PS3 but no official release date for either of those platforms has been announced.

I'll prolly buy a copy, it's been ages since I've played a decent multiplayer FPS.

It'll sell for more than $50, but it's worth far less.

With the US dollar the way it is, you will probably be best off buying it from the US (or else where).
Even if you do bother to get them to mail you the discs.
