The guys over at SEGA hit the coffee hard yesterday and sent through a stack of press releases:

• SEGA Announces Ghost Squad for Wii
• SEGA Announces Condemned 2: Bloodshot
• SEGA Announces Happy Tree Friends False Alarm
• SEGA Announces Universe at War: Earth Assault for Xbox 360

And finally, what I thought was pretty interesting, plans to make a new RPG with Gas Powered Games (the guys that brought you Dungeon Siege). No juicy details yet though, other than it will be a PC title.

Maybe they'll do a decent remake of phantasy star online. hehe.

Ghost squad is that shooting game you might have seen in the arcades, where you play military dudes, and the guns are like rifles and not pistols. Its not bad, its basically Virtua Cop but with military dudes isntead of cops, and it has occasional scenes where you have to disarm bombs by snipping wires with your wire cutters and secure hostages with cuffs and stuff.

Yeah ghost squad is actually pretty good. My mum and I wasted a fair bit of time playing it down in Sydney. It's the first game my mum has enjoyed since the original Super Mario Brothers.

Aliens games, theres two of them, an FPS by Gearbox and an RPG by Obsidian. Though they're both probably still years away, as Sega only just announced they had the rights to start making them a couple of months back.

I wish some trillionare tycoon would step in and help Sega get back into the console game :(

im still pretty annoyed at sega because of sonic on ps3, man that game sucks. They do have a pretty good 'pool of experience' for making games, especially console games so maybe some of these titles will be ok.
