A new trailer for Need for Speed Carbon has been released, showing off some more of the ever-popular racing series in lush high def. Download for a closer look.

GA Link:

Ga Linky Clicky

I also DO NOT recommend wasting your bandwidth on this (Even if it your on BP and get it from GA for free), it seriously THE worst ingame, or any kind trailer I have ever seen, it was boring as s***, I was expecting something cool out of this, showing the new 'customisation of the cars' (perhaps GT style?) but no...

...To sum it up: Looks like NFS:U2, trailer is just view behind some lancer riced up "racing" some other car, no other traffic on the road, boring ass landscape, boring ass driving (a couple of what seems to be deliberate running into some streets signs and scraping a wall), still no car damage so it was pointless, and they seem to stay the same distance apart for basically the entire race, no jumps, no cool 'nitrous blur effects' no absolutely anything.

Anyway, it looks like it won't even be half as good as NFS:MW (environment wise or gameplay by that trailer), whether that's a bad thing or an incredibly bad thing is up to you.
That's my review on it anyway, not worth the badnwidth.

vvv was it? I got a feeling the one trog linked and the GA one could be different?
I looked at it again and the Car the 'player' is driving o nthe one I have looks more lie a BMW or something (its hard to tell with the uhge bodykit) and the one in front is, I dunno.
But definately not supra's..

But your description of it still sounds the same, and the GA one is labelled ad need for speed carbon, so I'm still going to go with it sucking.

Ok fast down hill drifting is great, but to me "carbon" sounds like they might have gone back from Most Wanted's getaways from cops in exotic cars in open landscaps to focus on drifting while stuffing a bowl of rice down your throat. That's my gut feeling from watching that video anyway.

ps. It wasn't a lancer it was a supra.

Oh ok well they are different then. Cause the one trog linked only had a supra drifting. But yes certainly nothing special.

The whole point of drifting is to enter a corner at the perfect speed/line, and be facing the exit at the right angle for the perfect exit speed.
Wait, what?

as with a road that wide you could almost drive straight through without skidding for better speeds

Umm... that applies to any road/track... drifting does not allow faster lap times, hence why F1 is not a drift contest.

i thought nfs games where only good for arcade style racing in the home. except gayer. not to actually be anything realistic of half decent.

The world has had no reason for any other arcadey street racer games since the burnout series was conceptualized, seriously

If they raced on mountain tracks, they would still be better off not drifting. Drifting is just for show, not for speed.

NFS is a rally game now?

The lack of friction that comes with cornering at high speeds on the street is not analoguous to the innate lack of friction in rally situations now?

So what hashy is trying to say is that he's got a pole stuck up his ass.

Apparently I don't even have to try to piss you off any more Booyah. That's no fun :(
