If the download works, I'm a lot more sober than I feel. Trying to mirror stuff at 2.16am on a Saturday morning is a delicate procedure.

Reverend, this is from a post on BHM... not in quoting markup because well, I don't know what the syntax here is :P

"Informed sources have revealed to AutoSimSport that Starforce has been dropped from GTR2 - both the demo version available today and the final release version scheduled September 30th. Sources reveal that 10Tacle have, instead, opted for securrom, which our source reveals as a "Sony solution".

I just can't stop picturing Austin Powers saying "Honestly it's not my bag baby :D" when I read ROOT KIT.

Great game, so detailed. Graphics, sound and gameplay are good. They need to release a gaming wheel with 3 pedals. Because the clutch feature rocks.

Using Logitech's Drivingforce Pro, with a few minor tweaks works great. You really do feel all 610HP from the cars. Snapping 2nd or 3rd without clutching or backing off the gas gets the rear end out at crazy speeds.
And the feedback on the wheel when you understeer is pretty spot on. Brings flashbacks sometimes. :(

Excellent simulator.

just used a spare joystick and a pulley system, works superbly
with bonus foot.

i only ever use it for takeoff or avoiding a stall when i spin, flatshifting is quicker i find.
