One of the Ubisoft staff involved in Heroes of Might and Magic 5 has posted on the official forums stating that this upcoming title won't have Starforce copy protection. Could this be the beginning of the end of Ubi's run with the infamous copy protection software?!

Further into that linked post is a quote that states a reliable source also believes that Ghost Recon: AW may also be StarForce free

Now, if they could only re-release some of their earlier titles that were tainted with that invbasive crap then I would be very happy.
