A new update for Counter-Strike: Source is now waiting for you on Steam - there are a few bug fixes and changes but most importantly the update features an HDR-enabled remake of the classic cs_militia map. Restart Steam to get the update (it is around 120mb; the Content Server network is congested so it might take a while).

Man, militia looks lush but with full HDR on it runs like crap on my PC (AMD64 2200something with some decent nvidia card).

edit: runs better with HDR in "bloom" mode but still not really uber playable.

it roxors on my dual 7800GTX and dual core amd with 4 gb of ram. with full HDR with 2xaa and 8x af at 1280 x 1024

yeah thats what I'm running nats and runs alot better than I expected. Better than nuke does thats for sure.

runs great on my AMD2500@3200 1g 6800gt
everything high except shadows. 6xaa 8xaf 1600x1200
dont need anything fancy.
