A new version of the Ventrilo client has been released (as a beta) offering a few features:

. Added native support for Logitech G15 keyboard LCD. Can be enabled or disabled via Setup-Global page. Also supports all 4 soft buttons below the LCD.
. Added Text filter and Phonetic filter to the Setup-Speech page to help prevent TTS abuses.
. Moved User->Copy Comment to Miscellaneous->Copy Comment. This allows for copying channel and server comments to the clipboard in addition to user comments.
. Added check marks to menu options for User->Mute and Server->Mute Globally when the selected item is already muted.
. Clicking sounds at the end of another persons voice stream should now be a thing of the past. They might occur on occasion but are now the exception rather then the rule. This applies to all codecs and sample rates. Requires that DirectSound for Output device be enabled.

can you get private channels ?

You've always (afaik) been able to make passworded channels

yea Lowgoz fully,
can make em so only certain level users can enter(password needed to login as certain users etc)
or simple just make a channel passworded, or the whole server

moreso the clan im in needs a communication chanel because BF2 is so s***ty with 6 player squads

ok just installed and am on GA#2, how do you filter out all the rooms and find t he admin channel, jeese !
