question -

do you as a gamer-slash-pc fiend rely upon the quality services of one person/company?

are they often cost effective?
do they deliver?
would you recommend them to others?
what are their staff like?
do they provide for a vast quantity of your needs?
can they understand and comprehend your needs?
are they gamers?
to what extent, if ever, do they go above and beyond the boundries of service.


These are questions i've been hoping to see asked in the past. We ALL buy hardware. Other than the generic evil (heh - Sunlit) it's often a painful and expensive process to gain insight as to who to trust, and who to avoid. Who of the locals are WORTH our dollars, and who REALLY need to pull the finger out?

the sold me a friggin hdd full of bad sectors, then when we returned it the fagets tested it and said it worked.

i ask these q's because guys such as yourself buy my hardware. keeping up with what you guys need and expect in terms of service keeps a shirt on my back.

Ahh ok sorry yeah. Umm well I usually bought my computers from Gateway, but here in Toowoomba we can get alright prices but the service is not the best. I find the service to be lacking in most computer stores to be truthful. For a full machine I would never buy anything other than Gateway cos the warranties are unreal and the service is extremely good in the stores. I knew very little when I bought my first machine from them and they treated me and my parents really well. Most stores treat you like idiots, then they wonder why they lose business and blame it on the GST......
