A new mod for Half-Life that looks pretty interesting:

Wasteland Half-Life is a multiplayer mod based in a shattered world. Nuclear fire has scarred the earth and the survivors fight over the scraps of what was once their civilization. Some have formed gangs and tribes to better survive the harsh world their great-grandparents left them, while some have waited in sealed underground Vaults for the radiation, viruses, and mutagens unleashed so many years ago to fade.

Mmmm. It certainly looks nice, but I won't download it unless theres a server somewhere... *hint* *hint* :)

I was thinking maybe QGL should have mod test servers, that last for say, one or two nights? Sort of like gamecreate? Seeing as theres _two_ CS servers I'm sure people won't mind one not being there for a night or two. Hmmm. *hint* :)

Maybe have a second poll on the main page for what mod to run on it, or whether it should go back to usual for the night...

Cerb, thats a great idea, would certainly add some variation to the same old same old that is known as Counter-Strike. I am so sick of playing it that I now play TFC more... Perhaps it should be one day a week, such as Friday. In other words, every friday, the votes are collected in, and whatever mod has the most votes is run for that night. Vote-a-mod? One night its Firearms, one night its FLF and another friday its Wasteland. Sounds good to me :).

Ok, for beings of lower intelligence: I am hinting that they need to put up a server with a mod _other than_ CS. As theres already two CS servers, it doesn't REALLY matter if one is scrapped, does it?

Yeah, would be nice, you've got two cs servers, why not dedicate the HPB one to say, FLF.

There are plenty more CS servers in australia, not enough of other mods.

cs is still good but i fully support changing one of the servers manly becase i never play on that server cause i get s*** pings
until tpg makes a server of it i doubt ill play it (not that ne1 here cares what server i playon)

I think you'll find quite a lot of people on here play rgp's, its just that they're not often played online so not often talked about here.

If I can be bothered gayifying my computer my reinstalling half life, I might even give this mod a go cause Fallout rawked.

yeah fallout was a sweet game, i just went and downloaded all the mods to burn and take them to my good computer which is unfortunately *dial up* atm i am getting q3 sent to me over icq :p
