From what I can see there are 3 "all-in-1" headphones with headset solutions for the xbox360.
Turtle Beach Ear Force X3 (infrared wireless, stereo, not sold here) Sharkoon X-Tactic 5.1 (wired, 5.1, not sold here) Titton AX360 (wired, 5.1, 3 to 4 times the price they are in the US) Am I missing any that people know of ... and has anyone ever order these from Overseas / had good or bad experiences with them ? |

Yeah its more for gaming after people have gone to sleep, and so I don't annoy the neighbours (too much).

I didnt know there was an option to run game sounds through a headset. That would be cool.

I just use your existing stereo headphones, no need to buy a new complete headset unless you want to use xbox live...
spend like a max of 15 bucks at jb or wow. 1. 3.5 mm to RCA cable, 2 RCA female (Left and Right) to a 3.5mm stereo male 2. 3.5 mmm y spilter ( 2 3.5 mm (female) to 3.5 mm male 3. connect xbox 360 left and right cables from component or vga to rca spilter 4. connect rca 3.5 male end to one of connector on the 3.5 y spillter. 5. connect headphones to other port. 6. profit. last edited by thraxjor at 18:28:43 29/Apr/08 |

Yeah, I used to do that when I lived at my parent's place, but it comes out pretty soft. I'd imagine having it come into an amp and then plug headphones into the amp would be a way better solution (if its viable).

thats ok for sound only
what about talk on XBL? pretty sure you'd have to direct connect to the 360 for that |

thrax ... you are connecting a line out to headphones ... that'd suck and totally misses the point of what I want.
If I wanted just that I'd plug headphones into my receiver. |
