I was just thinking... why don't we start a QGL Wiki. OCAU have and use one to great effect, and there would be a lot of QGL specific information that we could insert to avoid having the same questions asked over and over again...

I have been thinking an AusGamers one might be good, mainly for the things like "how do i encode video to my ipod" etc stuff, with a view to rewarding frequent/good contributors. A QGL one I don't see as too useful for us riiiiiiiight now; maybe if/when we get QGLs going again

id like to see the wiki be editable to the sense that when new information is added it has to be moderated by someone with decent 1337 skillz prior to it being accepted on to the wiki, once it is moderated and no additional changes are required it can then be locked. any new information or changes then have to be be submitted for a mod's approval.

A new account doesn't necessarily mean a new person, you f***ing tool. Take a note from the wiki:

Each user's volume of posts is recorded as part of their profile on the QGL forum.

Post count is frequently mistaken for maturity, seniority or wisdom. Actually some of the biggest d*******s on QGL have the largest post counts.
