http://www.ausgamers.com/images/features/unrealtournament.jpgActually, Steam and Epic Games have today announced Epic's catalogue of award-winning titles are available for digital distribution via Valve's online Steam service. The back catalogue begins with the Unreal namesake where you will have full access to the classic Unreal Gold alongside Unreal 2: The Awakening and the full Unreal Tournament series, including the recently released Unreal Tournament 3.
"Epic is a leading developer of game engine technology and has produced some of my favorite games of all time," said Gabe Newell, president of Valve. "It's an honor to be working with them and offering their current and classic titles to the millions of Steam gamers around the world."
According to the press release, Epic's games will be available for a short time in an 'Unreal Deal Pack' which is fancy digital distro speak for saying they'll be cheaper than normal, so head over to Steam to see what tickle's your Epic fancy.

man I used to love playing unreal tournament with the chaos mod (at least I think it was a mod?) but I just couldn't really get into ut3 like I used to be able to get into the previous version.
