looks good. i love how they are using some of the gags and one-liners from the show.

While I'm sure this will be great, and Steve Carell is awesome, that wasn't a very good/funny trailer. I got more laughs out the teaser that was released months ago.

It looks alirte. But I think they could of casted it a little bit better. The original get smart is a bit hard to replace. But in saying that I will probley still go see it.

Yeah I agree that the trailer posted was crappy - it made him look like Steve Carrell more than Maxwell Smart. As Khel said, the teaser was much better than the trailer so hopefully the movie is more like that.

Actually when I heard how they'd cast this movie it made me very happy. Steve Carrel is the perfect choice as Smart and Anne Hathaway is a honey and looks a lot like the original 99

One thing I loved about the original series was that despite Max always bumbling around, he still outwitted the bad guy and could sum up everything that was going on (he actually did have half a brain). Hopefully he doesn't do things "by accident" in the movie.

Which is why I meant Maxwell Smart and not Don Adams. And I meant Steve Carrell the "character" .. the same characterisms he always has as opposed to the Maxwell Smart "characterisms".
