After weeks of searching for Guitar Hero III a Canadian dad came home and found his kid smoking pot so sold the game on ebay. Aparently he bought it for $90 and an aussie bought it off him for $9100.
Kid loses, dad wins.

Smells like bulls*** to me. Who would pay that much for a game?

$90 for a game that uses a gimmick guitar - fair enough - It's cheaper than a real guitar, but 10k? you could by a couple of the sweetest guitars and gear to go along with it for that much. the buyer is either fake, stupid, or too goddamn rich to know what to do with all their money.

Why would an aussie pay that much for GH3? Its not like its in short supply here, I was in JB earlier in the week and they had piles and piles of them.

Yeah this has to be total bulls***. You can get an awesome guitar + guitar lessons + impress the ladiez with that amount of money, I wouldn't settle for game + plastic guitar - da ladiez???

Even if it was sold out on your console, you could buy a different console and gh3 on that for a s***load cheaper.

From the link to the ebay site it looks like a non-payer probably bought it. He's said that he's not going to chase it up if that happens anyway.

ebay s***s me off sometimes. last two things i've tried to buy were from buyers who instead of supplying you with bank details as soon as you click buy now are the ones that are supposed to email you their details. so i waited nearly 2 weeks for first buyer to email me their details and didn't hear from them after msging them saying i was waiting to pay etc so i came across what i wanted instore (which had previously been impossible to find) so i bought it thinking i'd never get it otherwise - 3 days after i get email from seller. then ebay just emailed me to say that the seller has contacted them saying i have refused to pay and want to report me as a non-payer grrr
