honestly? i was disappointed. no sweet crossing, no sweet headers or volleys in no razzle dazzle.. just donkey boy (ronaldinho?) dribbling past a few ppl then having a crack from in the box..

I played pro evo and it was very lol. Just get past the mid fielders and through ball through ball through ball. Plus the controls are retarded. And everything looks gay.

yeah - if ur talking about the single player than that was pretty lame, u try crankin up the difficulty ? absolutely insanely fun multiplayer tho my god i had some epic games with housemates. I been lookin for another sport game to get, tried Madden 08 was ok but didnt really get into it, u reccomend fifa fpot?

FIFA 07 was pretty dongs but FIFA 08 I reckon is really good. 07 suffered a bit of the throughball = instant success syndrome but they have fixed that in 08. 08 requires a solid short passing game and good dribbling skills (that dribbling you saw in the video wasn't easy dammit!). Plus I started a FIFA 08 thread on SA and quite a few evo people have been converted.

I have only ever played evo multiplayer with some Brazilian dude who said he was some sort of master at it. I beat him second go (albeit penalty shootout after 1-1) and to be honest I didn't like the controls, graphics and most importantly of all I couldn't find any atmosphere in the game (it had fake stadiums but apparently that isn't the case now). The one I played was on ps2 and it had Aloisi on the cover.

Really?!? I've only tried it on PS2 and have always wondered how it'd go on Xbox without the extra buttons on the controller.

I haven't played a recent FIFA but Pro Evo is awesome; as much as it is possible I reckon it better represents the rythm and feel of soccer, especially in terms of timing your attacks/defensive moves. I haven't played it since I think version 4 (or 5? my copy is 2 versions old with the latest one out now/soon)

Play FIFA 08.

first of all, pfft to fifa 08.. only runner ups play that game

now, Pro evo 2008 - Everyone knows Pro Evolution Soccer is the far superior game. I would probably go far as saying PES is one of the best games ever made, if not THE best.

Anyone playing this on PC here? Is there an online commmunity? Is there anyone out there that wants a crack at the title? I'm thinking about goin the Xbox live route - but its runs and looks better on my PC.

I think theres a patch coming out soon to fix the laggy online play issues which should be tops

I'll give fifa08 a whirl on PC tonight though I have always found the konami series far more fun.
