where i work is looking for perl programmers atm, but will probably take grads who are keen to learn;

in all honesty, pay is carp (unless you have mad skillz, and then you could probably bargain a decent pay, also pay is carp relative to IT work, im sure as a grad it would be quite a lot of money), but environment and people are good, you get to learn to think on your feet and about perl, and you get EXPERIENCE.
