I need some tyres for my commodore. 225/55/16.
What do you think I should get? Looking for something good, but not too expensive. Where do you recommend going? Thanks... |

K-mart tyre and auto are by far the best when it comes to tyres and mechanicals.

if you have a performance vehicle, i would recommend nankang

Obviously, the government should be spending 4 billion dollars to increase the availability of tires. Sure, some tires are used to perform piratical driving actions on roads resulting in death and injury, but oftentimes tires are used for actual, legitimate businesses, such as the driving of Linux CDs from one building to another. Without massive government funding in expansion of tires, people and businesses are going to suffer. VOTE #1 TIRES!

I got some Pirelli P6000s on my 323, they are pretty bitchin' and not super expensive.
I recommend Bob Jane T-Mart, mostly because I still have access to trade account with them :D |

I'd go Bob Jane.. to replace the tyres on my Commo would be $590 a corner, a mild heart-attack after hearing that and the Bob Jane guy recommended Maxxis something or others for $280 a corner.
And damn well have been a good tyre for their price since I put them on, good in the dry and good in the wet. |

This month's issue of Motor mag has a tyre comparison.
doesn't comment on life though, only performance. |
