First time poster.

I don't know who else to turn to, as I don't live in Sydney. I reckon Ausgamer members would have the best knowledge on this one so here goes.

I am looking to put on a small LAN event, up to ten players coming from interstate over about 3-5 days. To get this up an rockin, I need a place to field the event. I have spoken to hotels, community halls, etc, but they all seem to have 1 or 2 things making it a non starter. The venue would ideally have then or be able to cater for these attributes:

1. Ability to use venue 24/7, ie have people sleep if needs be.
2. Shower facility.
3. Fridge (optional)
4. Net connection (optional, perhaps)
5. Power
6. Reasonable price
7. Enough room to cater for PC's and tables.
8. Parking (optional)
9. Aircon if it is a hot venue (event will be in summer)

So that's it. Unless of coure anyone else has any additions. It's basically a bunch of mates coming from interstate and OS to gather for some gaming over a few days. We have held one before at a players house in thier garage, but that meant we all had to find accomodation when we got tired, which takes up WAY to much gaming time, specially if you wan't to have a drink. Alcohol consumption is compulsary for any venue of course.

Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.
