hey guys,

just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of cheap computer hardware stores in sydney. i'm after a 2gb stick of laptop RAM.

back when i was a systems builer (04-05) there wasn't much that i didn't know
nowadays i've sortta dropped the bundle a bit

there's a place on george street near the telstra building (kind of in line with the park across from central)

go up the stairs across from star bucks and it's just a whole floor of individual computer places

the telstra building you are talking about is an exchange. their head office in sydney is 400george st up in the other end of town in the CBD.

the place you are talking about is next to capital theatre.

Except if you want to save some dollars.. they quote $89 for a generic 1Gb DDR2 667Mhz stick yet MSY in Morningside quote $45 for Kingston or $56 for Corsair.
