Sucks donkey's balls (yes I am sure a lot of you already knew this).

After litrally years of not using it I fired it up on Monday. I got a msg from someone I didn't know, didn't respond. I clicked on the mail link and checked my mail - none. Then closed it, all within an hour of opening it.

Between then and now we have had over 8gig worth of used bandwidth.

After investigated the stupid image server yimg.com has been using our computer/bandwidth to 'get' pictures non stop.

Stupid f***ing yahoo!!

I don't know, the logs simply say " 'GET' p/d?.yimg.com/blah blah blah", over and over again, or something to that effect. Pretty much every few minutes for three days.

We thought we were shaped, so we figured it was just slow because of that - plus most of it was done overnight (when we weren't shaped).

You know what's worse.. there are thousands of people out there that wouldn't even think to look in the logs and stop it. It would just sit there sucking bandwidth until you got shaped, or even worse, charged for extra usage and there would be very little recourse for your average internet user with their ISP.
