Organise another lan sack.

It's painless setup at least when somebody studies this stuff.

I'd be fitting into that category if I was to be categorised.

I am our network admin at the moment by default.

How regular guy is away.

I'm an accountant so I'm doing a pretty average job.

All users do is complain :(

I spend most of my days at the pub and occasionally manage to actually wonder into work. Even then it is a rare thing to actually see me do 'real' work whatever the hell that is.

I think the word 'Engineer' is added to too many job titles when it shouldn't be, with "Network Engineer" being a prime example.

If you're just putting together off-the-shelf products to create a solution, without applying scientific, mathematical or physics knowledge/theory, then you're not an Engineer and shouldn't use Engineer in your title.

Software Engineers are fine to an extent, as some of the tasks they do can require [for example] knowledge of algorithms and their performance, which can require some Discrete Maths background. The better you are at it, the better code you'll likely produce as you can think at a lower level.

I guess I'm saying this as I've done first year I.T. and went on to complete a full Electrical Engineering degree, and found the I.T. degree insanely piss-easy and unchallenging in comparison.

(Also, I feel like bashing everyone that uses the term "Nail Technician" when working in a beauty salon)
