First ep is out and while I haven't watched the full thing yet, just skipping thru it breifly it looks like it might be an awesome new show to watch. Have to check the full thing out later tonight.

The O.C. creator Josh Schwartz, and director McG (We Are Marshall), bring us Chuck, a new series laced with humor about young twenty-something spies.

Zachary Levi (Less Than Perfect) plays Chuck, a nerdy computer tech who has a database of government secrets downloaded into his brain. Chuck soon finds himself recruited by John Casey (Adam Baldwin of Day Break), a veteran NSA Agent, for espionage work with his new partner (and first date in ten years) Sarah (Yvonne Strzechowski) -- leading Chuck to live a split life of computer geek and secret NSA missions.

I stopped reading after "The O.C." so someone will have to tell me if it doesn't suck

It has Adam Baldwin in it though, so I give it about 5 episodes tops, not that he's a bad actor - i like the guy - but every single show he's in gets canned.

I watched the first ep last night and downloaded a bunch more ... seems kinda cool so far.

Been watching it since the first episode got released AGESSSS ago ... thought people would have been watching it by now ... but to those who've just started welcome to the world of Chuck :)

the show is pretty funny, the nerd humour is pretty decent aswell. the babes are f***ing jaw dropping. imagine the oc chicks and that stupd seth character + spie s***, thats pretty much chuck.

Chuck is an awesome show. I was a bit skeptical at first, but after a few episodes I have grown to enjoy it...can't go wrong, especially with Rachel Bilson in the latest episode.

yeah, really good show - other awesome shows to keep an eye on are Reaper, Cane and Big Shots, Cane is starting to get a bit boring lately though, but showed real promise to start with - the other two are just good for laughs

Big Shots probably won't be back once the show runs out of scripts. It's apparently tanking badly in its timeslot.

Chuck and Journeyman also have questionable futures... :(

I think the show is taking a s*** turn. If this who Bryce thing pans out with him returning to the fold then i suspect the show will turn into a s***-fest love triangle which I just find pretty boring most of the time. Maybe Bilson will show up again though?

Anyone still watching this? Last two eps were very damn cool.

Just wish Chuck and Sarah would get it on already. With ep 14 having them both holding hands in the last scene is heading in the right direction but knowing this show they're gonna drag out their fake romance for ages. Also like how this show and Fringe both have two hot Aussie babes as the leads.

Rev, yeah I still watch it and enjoy it. I agree with you on the relationship thing .. these days every f***ing show drag them out for ages because it's an easy plot device that people lap up. As soon as the couple finally get together, it changes some of the show's dynamic and some shows struggle to continue (the US office had trouble after jim and pam, but managed to pick back up). I hope they don't drag it out forever either.

Remember a few eps back around Xmas time where Sarah killed that Fulcrum agent and Chuck saw. I was expecting to see this play out over many eps with Chuck being "traumatized" but thank god that never happened.

You're right about the whole Chuck and Sarah thing. It would prolly change the show for the worst but I get so frustrated every time they get close and then something happens. Usually Adam Baldwin walks in and f***s it up.

They're up to season 2 ep 14 at the moment and I think there's about 2 eps left and then we have to wait for season 3.

Latest ep was awesome as well. When that new agent turned up I was thinking, f***, I know her from somewhere. She looks like a famous porn star. Then near the end it finally clicked it was Tricia Helfer. I felt like the biggest noob for taking that long to figure it out.

Threw me a bit too Rev - it was her hair that did it. She looks better as a blondey.

The decision hasn't been made (public) yet.

The network upfronts are in May, so you'll probably get the news then. There's a few shows with an uncertain future.

AMG I can't stand the way she talks through her teeth. It's like the silly emaciated whore thinks a sandwich might fly into her mouth while she's talking. She sure as s*** needs a sandwich or two.

I watched the first Ep and found it a bit zzzzz

Started watching this the other day up to ep two now. It's not too bad. Dunno if I can put up with his over exaggerated nervousness for 2 seasons though. Interestingly enough, during the 2nd ep (7min 42sec) Chuck starts rattling off a bunch of secrets and one of them is; "Oceanic flight 815 was shot down by....blah blah" Wonder what that's about. Oh yeah, and there was some shots of Egyptian type things in the flashes of secrets.
