Howdy. I was under the impression (maybe wrong) that Ausgamers was unmetered on Telstra Bigpond. I just checked that my 1.2 gig download of MOHAirborne was part of my unmetered downloads, but it has been counted.

Can anyone in the know confirm if Ausgamers is supposed to be unmetered?

Don't know how you ever got that impression. No it's never been unmetered.

GameArena has the MOH Airborne demo unmetered for bigpond users.

ravn0s's thread should be your definitive guide to unmetered-ness. Most, if not all, BigPond unmetered sites should also have a banner, icon, or graphic or something on key pages which show them as unmetered as well.

Internet services are kindly provided by Soul

Soul are buddied up with Optus. Why would Telstra give them unrated usage? Gamearena is unmetered, AusGamers is not.

you used to be able to click at the bottom of a gamearena file download 'bigpond mirror' or somes*** and it wouldnt be metered
