Ok, So I've inherited (literally) a copy of BF2 and have tried to install it. I get to the code screen and it says the code is in a white box on the back of the DVD box. The only code in a white box is the Barcode and I've tried inserting that but it doesn't work. Anyone shed some light where I should find the code?

Serial key shouldnt be on the outside of a box, These days it's usually a white sticker on either the game's instruction manual or the paper cd sleeve.

That could be the problem. Any idea how many disks it's supposed to have as well. There is room for 4 disks but only 3 in the box... seems like I haven't inherited the whole lot... :(

I got the DVD version so I think that's only 1 disc.. However the CD-Key should be a sticker located on the inside of the CD plastic box or stuck on the back of the manual..

as always, even veiled discussion of ways to circumvent game copy protection or pirate games will get you nuked at the very least, or banned if you are deliberately being a smartass like poor old fpot
