My thumb is getting a hammering. The base of my thumb has been aching. I think I have either RSI or arthritis. Anyone ever had a similar problem? |

hahahaha......I would imagine everybody who has ever flogged a game at some stage or another. I know that I have had games that I found it hard to drag myself away from, and had to eventually walk away because my hands were hurting.

yup, when i was winning my way through topspin for the second time in a short period (building up other characters) had the sorest thumb evar
have also heard of people getting wii injuries i think the highest profile gamers thumb was an nba player who couldnt play a couple of games due to his fingers being unusable after some hefty gaming sessions (couldnt find links, happened a few years ago) |

I played so much Marvel Vs Capcom 2 at Replay the other day my entire hand started to bleed!
Now that's hardcore. Too much button mashing on Cables AHVB x 3 and Magneto's Hypergrav XX Tempest. RSI really sucks though, I got it from a combination of Australia Post mail work + playing guitar... really, really painful condition. |

With the 360 Controllers I haven't really noticed a problem, even playing through FPS's on it. Playing hours of Restistance on the PS3 however :(

You've been playing WAY too much worms D0mino. I get very sore thumbs using the 360 controller as well. Some games are worse than others, such a Fight Night3. That stuffs my hands up bad. Geez I feel old.

Playing gears of war and using my right thumb to change weapons instead of my left. and hammering A to revive myself. (i think) last edited by d0mino at 11:45:48 22/Aug/07 |

Not all of us consider masturbation a game.fpot, maybe you don't consider masturbation a game, maybe it is a serious sport for you...also...I find it difficult to understand how you would relate an injured thumb with masturbation....I sure hope you are not jamming your thumb up your arse, because you might poke yourself in the eye. Spoiler: Because you have your head up your arse FP (^_^) :P |
