For those interested in keeping track of the files we're adding, we have a files RSS feed now available (it's a Feedburner URL). All new files will appear there as soon as they're added.

For those who came in late, an RSS feed is basically a list of headlines from a certain site. For example, we have a news feed and now a files feed, so you can "subscribe" to these feeds in an RSS reader and keep track of stuff that is coming in.

I personally use Google Reader. Google have a short video that explains how RSS feeds and readers work, and it's a great starting point for RSS in general.

Any reason for using the third party site for the feed? Can't really be bothered registering on feedburner, what are the advantages?

Also noticed that http://feeds.feedburner.com/AusGamersFiles seems to take you straight to the feed (can just add that direct as a firefox live bookmark) without needing to sign in unlike the link in the first post.
