anyone know where to find a trench coat on short notice? i was thinking of the punisher.

or maybe raoul duke (the guy j.depp plays in fear and loathing) though that hat might be even harder to find.

any help with the above or any suggestions of other ideas would be awesome.

Dress up parties are s*** :p

Alright, time to be serious/help out.

Go as your favourite wrestler, easy costume (most of the time).

Then when people ask who you are, do a suplex on them.

Last costume party I went as the undertaker, got pissed and started putting people in leg locks.

Best costume at the party btw was some dude dressed as Sub-Zero... too cool!

Wear a suit and go as a successful version of yourself.
If you have a Trench coat, maybe grab a pair of Black Sunnies and go as Neo?

I quite enjoy THEME parties, as opposed to costume parties. Eg. For my last bday party at my place it was "black and white" theme. Easy for everyone and made the photos look f***ing awesome.

Tips for costume choices (when hiring):

Consider how hot/cold you're going to be at the venue

Don't wear anything with a mask - you'll take it off after 5 minutes when you get thirsty

Don't have any cool accessories like a gun - some drunk fat chick will take it and you'll have to pay to replace it

Wigs are always fun but they get hot and see my previous points...

If you can grow a beard in a couple of days, definitely do it and work it into the costume (or shave if you have a beard)

If you're single, wear something that isn't instantly recogniseable so girls ask you what you're wearing (then bend them over)

sifn't gorilla suit. everyone loves the funny monkey! although they have a mask i didn't find drinking through it to be a problem till i was really tanked at which point who cares. the suit is nice n warm in winter, random women come up to run thier hands through your fur, it has gloves & booties so you can ride a motorcycle with it on for extra comedy effect... prolly not so good for a summer party tho ;p

costume parties are f***ed. it just gets in the way of getting pissed.

yeah man devil is heaps do-able. threw a part last year and went as the devil..

red body paint, some evilish clothes/hair, pitch fork and and a tail and you are laughing
